Men’s mindfulness skincare package design
The Concept
The concept for the Enso brand was inspired by the Japanese Zen art of Ink Painting, where painting the ensō, or circle, is a daily exercise of mindfulness. The enso symbolizes a moment where the mind is free to let the body create. Enso represents the harmony in the connection of mind and body and the strength that is found in self-care and prioritizing mental health.

Demographic
Enso is a therapeutic skin care line designed for modern, forward-thinking men 25 – 38 years old. They are working professionals with discretionary income, cultured, cosmopolitan, and worldly travelers. These men place great importance on holistic values of well being.
Process
The Enso brand was developed through researching the different expressions of balance. Mind maps, mood boards, and sketches led to the final brand identity. The packaging was developed through making many prototypes.
Final Product
The Enso brand packaging embodies boldness and strength — a reflection of the sense of well being that comes from a physically and mentally healthy body.
Augmented Reality smart packaging
Enso utilizes smart packaging to provide users with a stronger sense of balance and harmony. When users scan the Enso mark, they can begin a guided meditation session or breathing exercise to help them begin or end their day with a sense of mental well being. Each product is associated with a different breathing or meditation exercise.
